Our School

Glenwood School is an HWDSB System School for students with highly complex and intensive support requirements. Students are internally referred to Glenwood through the Board after detailed assessment from specialists, and collaboration with educators, principals and professionals who are familiar with the students' profile. Together, this ensures that all decisions are grounded in expert insight and a comprehensive understanding of the students' strengths and needs - helping determine if Glenwood is the right fit for the student.

Through comprehensive IEPs, and additional plans, we guide students with complex needs by providing specialized programming and advanced support to nurture growth, independence, and success.

At Glenwood, we believe every student deserves meaningful opportunities to explore their interests and reach their full potential. Engaging activities include Painting to Music, Boccia tournaments, bowling, Bingo, Video Move Along, Access Athletics, creative arts and crafts, neighbourhood community walks, and many more enriching experiences that promote connection, confidence and joy in learning.
